That damaged, brittle hair

Bleaching, dying, heat processing hair is a cocktail for hair growth disaster!
Is your hair breaking off at the ends? Are you seeing no change in the length and thickness of your hair?
Well I have the answer to turn damaged hair into beautiful lustrous hair that will give others major hair envy
.

When brushing your hair, brush the bottom first and then the top to avoid breaking the hair.

Step one:
CUT YOUR HAIR!
Now this will be the LAST thing you want to hear, but listen up! By cutting all the damaged hair off it will help it to stop breaking off at the ends and therefore you will start to gain length on your hair as it isn't constantly breaking off. Sadly, there is no way to restore damaged, brittle ends so its best to get them cut off and start again!
Trim hair every 6-8 weeks, try aim to cut less than an inch off as your hair may only grow an inch in this time and you will not see any growth as you will be cutting it off!

Step two:
DITCH THE HEAT!
I know how difficult this can be, especially if your hair is at an awkward length, but ditching the heat is going to seriously improve the amount of breakage that occurs in your hair. This means avoiding using any heat appliances such as straighteners, curlers and blow dryers. However, if you are going to occasionally use them make sure you're using a great heat defense spray such as Tressemme's Keratin Smooth Straightening Spray.

Step three:
PRODUCTS WORTH INVESTING IN!
If you want beautiful healthy hair, products can be a massive help, I personally find that more natural products give the best results! So here is a list:
- Palmers Olive Oil formula with Vitamin E Gro Therapy (i usually use this after washing my hair, on my scalp and ends of my hair, use sparingly!)
- Palmers Coconut Oil formula with Vitamin E Strong Roots Spray (this is great for all over the hair! has a fresh peppermint smell to it aswell, great for stimulating the scalp)
- Vatika Enriched Coconut oil (this is great to put on your hair before you wash it as a sort of 'pre-moisturizer' and also works great heated up as an over night mask and just used after washing hair!)
-Organix Renewing Morrocan Argan Oil shampoo
-Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner
-Timotei 0% Shampoo (this is great as it has no silicon or colorants in it so its great for your hair)

Step four:
CHANGE THE WAY YOU WASH YOUR HAIR!
Try aim to wash your hair as little as possible because if you're washing your hair everyday you're washing out its natural oils which will dry it out! Try wash it every other day or longer, the longer the better. Before you wash your hair, try soak it in a hair oil such as coconut oil and leave it about half an hour before washing it out. When using shampoo only clean your roots with it, don't clean the ends of your hair as it can dry it out. Then finish with a good conditioner, focusing on the ends of your hair.

Step five:
VITAMINS!
These are some of the best vitamins that give results really fast:
- Vitamins for The Hair, Synergistic Beauty Formula for Lustrous Hair (results are apparent after two weeks of taking them everyday)
-Cod Liver Oil tablets (these help add shine to your hair and stop breakage! Take one everyday, i go for the 550mg)

These vitamins are available at Holland and Barrett stores and online.
